Please help

I am trying to upload my avatar from my computer and I am getting a message telling me "You cannot upload an animated image" or something like that It is only 8KB. Any ideas. I have seen other animated avatars so why won't it take mine?

im having the same problem. think its cos we are newbies and therefore arent special enough to have the ability to have our own avatars yet

What is the Size of it though? It may only be 8kb, but is it more than 80x60pixels?

It's gif. 60x60 pixels and it works on my own forums but not here. I keep getting a message that says "you cannot upload animated picture" What's that all about.

perhaps you need to be a senior member first? Something like 200 posts and 125 days membership to get that....

Here ya go BB.

Once you have 240 posts, have been a memeber for 140 days and a positive reputation level, you become a senior member where you can set your own user title. Other permissions also increase, like max avatar size, stored PM's, etc.

I have also had trouble with avatars, i uploaded it fine but it showed as a double image... dunno what I'm doing wrong! right dimensions etc... its a mystery!
