    Beware they are watching !!
Dunno what Beyond said, but reckon the Insurance will suss out what happened.....I mean bike + coro loop only adds upto one thing and the only out they have is 'failure to take care' and this is very hard to proove and they would have to prove that Teflon was 'wreckless' and I doubt this was the case.....going too fast is not enough and is not a sustainable insurance declinature.......even if they tried it on at first.

Main thing is Teflon appears to live to his KB name....

Obviously now I cant say much about what he said, and its really not a big deal at all, we just need to be a bit careful about what we do say, I remeber very well a certain Kiwibiker who mentioned how a ride was very fast and there was a insurance person basically monitoring the thread, his insurance application was declined for what ever reason.
I know Teflon and have rode with him a few times I would not want that to hapen to him or anyone really.
Im not having a go or anything cause we all say stuff, I just thought it prudent to excercise a bit of moderation on eyonds comments thats all, no offence beyond
Ive run out of fucks to give

No probs...to be honest I was not 'aving a pop or anything just adding my observation, nothing more......just I work in Insurance, claims but now underwriting and I reckon that 'certain kiwibiker' should have kicked up a stink as 'riding very fast' is still not enough grounds to decline a claim and the Insurance Ombudsman would throw the Insurer's case out.....in fact the Insurer would not even let it go that far cause it costs them $800 a case plus legal costs etc which would be more than claim itself..........please don't feel that you offended anyone...

Maybe the idea of doing half the loop early in the moring, then BBQ swim away the heat of the day, then return back in the evening would work ....

    it has been suggested before

    No offence taken

Sorry again and yes, no offence taken from anyone.

Didn't realise the repurcussions and of course I can now see how forums can be read by anyone, not just members etc.

No ego problems here with me. I'm just knocking on 50 and my ego died in my last bike accident when I was 18.

From reading this thread it seems said rider jumped in a car and left the scene of the accident, including leaving the bike behind. Someone made comment that the Kwaka had some trick bits fitted to it but I'm pretty sure noone implied that anyone had tampered with the wreckage...were you the rider Kwakaman?

Btw welome to KB Kwakaman & blast! :spudwave:

Ps. Don't think he/she was a KB member?

    ZX10R Rider

The rider of the ZX10 that binned it wasn't with us on the KB ride, I think he might have been riding with the 2 other ZX10's that turned up with the mad buggers in the "1 litre club". If he was I am not surprised his bike is now in a million pieces from what I have heard about the way those guys treat the road like a race track. I remember one of the KB riders saying they saw the 1 litre boys overtaking cars on the wrong side of the road around blind corners while knee sliding at about double the speed limit... hmmm just a matter of time if you ask me.
