Rumor has it that the ill fated ZX10 has its tyres down to the cords..? And that is what was upsetting the cage drivers.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

    like bloody chinese whispers!

I mentioned in a post that I had joked to Mental-trousers "do you need an Ohlins steering damper", implying it appeared to be the only thing undamaged on the bike

The tyres, apart from hanging off the smashed rims looked okay to me

asked a cager who had stopped if they knew what had happened to the rider (ie. had he been rushed away by ambo), she said he had hopped into a car and left, even though he'd been told an ambo was on its way.

Also, thought the road conditions were pretty good, with the tar hanging together well.

If he was I am not surprised his bike is now in a million pieces from what I have heard about the way those guys treat the road like a race track. I remember one of the KB riders saying they saw the 1 litre boys overtaking cars on the wrong side of the road around blind corners while knee sliding at about double the speed limit... hmmm just a matter of time if you ask me.

Theres three ZX10R's from out tauraunga way (blue/green) rather quick lads they are, one of them?
Most of what people say about "the litre club" is all shit, they used to a little crazy but these days they're a good bunch to blast it with, generally speeds are kept cruising on the straights and we wait for the twistys before we blast it, always courteous to cars when passing and give em a wave if they move for us, yea we have passed around a corner that we have line of sight and it's not like it's takes long to pass a cage and quite often i've had the GSXR on 299kph through the coro chaasing down a certain CBR1000RR rider, crashes are very rare amongest the group, just because we travel a shitload faster than most doesn't mean in anyway we're lunatics, just a lot more comfy on a bike with our abilitys and speed, shit happens some times, but more shit happens with noobs and they're more of a danger than any of us with the way some of them ride, go slag them off.

I don't think Fishslayer meant to be offensive but your point is valid in my book........it is about perception I guess rather than informed judgement but on the flip side, perception can help other riders chose their comfort zone groups so even if you guys are unfairly known as 'Mad Buggers' it may have be a good thing......if you know what I mean guvnor

I also know that a couple of the fast fuckers have not actually had a bin themselves yet. These guys didn't just jump on a bike and see how far the throttle bends back. I'm not meaning to fan the flame, but the liter boys are a quiet special group who know their shit. And it's cos of this, that they rarely fuck up. And not every litre bike on the road is with them. Just my 2¢

Sorry LB, didn't mean to come across as slagging them off. Just what I have heard thats all, have never actually seen these guys on the road myself. Yes I agree they must be a dam talented bunch if they ride like that often without comin off (they weren't the youngest guys I have seen on bikes ) no offence to old dudes as I know there are a shitload of older guys that will smoke me on the road thats for sure!.

No offence taken in any way, but more in general to everyone else who fans shit at us/them, really with the speed we can go at the level we are switched on to is pretty full on as to when we are cruising, i'd say i have less chance of binning it going as hard as i can, than putting around.
As buggy said, all the guys that i ride with in the litre club know how to ride.

Grahameeboy you're right about preception, alot of people think just cause someone is faster/alot faster than them that that person is an idiot.
It's not unfair to call us mad buggers, you've seen me ride lol, but in saying that i'm hardly going to throw my life away, there is some degree of skill to being a mad bugger.
