Be nice on a good day that is not a holiday or end of people sxmas holiday break.

Kopu to Coro is usually high traffic density. Today, Coro to Tairua (the best part of the loop) was pretty good - it was only the last 15km into Kopu (from Tairua) that was really heavy - mainly due to heading through there after 5pm.

Cheers for posting the crash.. lol.. better post my version

Crash was a combination of highside/tankslap which came down on the right handside. Not much you can do but try ride them out, but this time little unlucky. Sadly the bikes probably not a right-off.

On our way back down from Coro through to Wilson Bay was pretty good with hardly any cars. It was just from Wilson Bay through to Thames where we encountered the cagers!. Through Miranda was also free of cagers and we all had a good blast through there

Good to hear you are ok Teflon!. Did the fluid from the Coroglen water hole help numb the pain?

    Teflon

Glad to hear you are ok buddy, but I bet you are bloody sore today.

Please, no hard feelings from the other guys ok. I was due home around 2pmish and after being married for 27 years I kinda like to stay that way.

Once we had Teflons bike on the trailer, knew he was okay and that four other bikes were helping offload him again, I figured it would be ok to head on home to my hopefully understanding wifey. So it wasn't an intentional bolt on my part and I know Mike and the BMW had to get back as well.

Aplogies if that was taken as a bolt.

Be suprised if you haven't broken a bone in your wrist mate and that skinned arm didn't look too hot.

Other than that, a great ride and good meeting the guys on the forum.

Thanks for an all around good day with some good full on riding.

Thanks Fishlayer for putting together an enjoyable ride. With the exception of Teflon going down I had a great time with everyone. Glad to hear it's nothing too serious Teflon. Also thanks to zrxer for leading the shortcut back to Auckland. That was a very fun road.

Bit off topic and it is not a stalker question but do you run a couple of Alfas..?

Either way, enjoy the Cormandel. I went there in Nov for a weekend (friend's birthday present) the best roads ever...

I see that your new so maybe you aint stupid but dont go posting specifics about crashes on this site even if it to add to your ego mate, this is a public forum and what you just said (now deleted) would comprimise Teflons insurance claim, it has happen before.
    Beware they are watching !!
