Gidday LB. Thats me you meet at Taupo. I had a 04 10R & a 04 R1. The R1 was a great bike, but too easy to ride & not enough ground clearance. Have ordered a 06 10R & sold the blue 04 10R. Then there was a delay on the 06, so have a red 05 10R for a couple months. Way more fun than the Yam. The Krazy Krew have new 05 10R's. Looks like I'm the only one getting the 06. Gotta sort those pipes thou!
Beyond.... you may struggle to keep up in the corners, thats where we have fun, non of this 300kph shite!! That attracts too much interest from the authorities. A new 600 might do the trick, keep the 1400 for the touring.

I've tagged along for some of the LB rides.. my 6 hundie has happy to bring up the rear. The corner speed on a lot of 600s can be enough to keep the litre lot in sight. It's just the straights that they vanish
I enjoy heading out with them, just haven't for a while

Yo LB, decided to stay in the sunny BOP. Had a few job offers but have decided to stay with the cook down here. The extra $$$ in Aucks wasn't worth it. I agree on the 06 10R with the pipes. I've heard the 04/05 bolt straight on. 5lbs less & 5hp more. Dam greenies and their exhaust regulations. I've seen the 06 in the flesh/metal at last years MotoGP @ Phillip Island. The photos don't do it justice, she looks fine. I get my black beauty on the 20th of Feb. Hopefully a couple days earlier for Paeroa. Get that Suzook out for a blast in a couple weeks aye? Teach me to mono better!!! hahaha
