    Talking Swappa Crate.

I've got a Daihatsu Charade 1986 currently warranted & registered and I want to swap it for a bike. It's a great little runner and costs next to nothing to run. No it is not a new car, but it is not full of rust and I haveen't had any problems getting a warrant for it. I can't post any pics coz I don't have a digi cam.

What am I after? A bike. Hopefully something physically large enough to carry me (6'4" and 120kgs) and easy enough for me to work (4 stroke) and something 250 or largerish.

I went out to "Pick a Part" not that long ago to replace the fuel pump and spent $100 on a full carb and pump, distributor set and a new door! I haven't replaced all the parts coz they didn't need it and I haven't changed the door lock over either but I still got the old door with the lock. I even used an icon from the list for the margin of this post....

PM me or post questions - either way stop me from caging it in this matchbox! (think of the size of it and the size of me - oh the humanity!!)

Nobody even feels sorry enough for me to offer me a bike for a few hundred bucks and tell me to shove the Charade? One that maybe needs a little fixing?

Honestly i think it would be hard to find a person on a BIKER site to swap a BIKE for a CAGE!!!!! sell it on trade me or something u can usually find reasonable cheap bikes on there, and some of them are in really good condition i was just on there, there is some good stuff on there actually.

Wheelies? Nah this baby digs trenches! 0-100 in about 3 mins and 0-300 depends on whether you got a deep enough hole to chuck it in.

You know someone could just offer to sell me a bike for $500, that'd get the Charade off the site (which must be embarrasing for you guys - I have no standards)

You're not thinking creatively. Take the body off the chassis then cut off the left hand side and make your own bike!
Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)

It is actually a warranted and registered and running car - with no rust! And that's better than can be said for some KBers!

All I'm hoping for is that someone will feel sorry for me and offer to sell me an old bike ($500 or less)
