asked Mom if I was a gifted child ... she said they certainly wouldn't have paid for me.
That was fun.
Thanks to Frosty for the organisation and for being probably the all-round best bastard ever in the NZ MC community.
Thanks to Keystone, Cleve, Devil et al for letting the newbie hang around and ask dumb questions, and for the bed Sat night.
Thanks to McJim and family for the transport and general company, etc. Lots of lessons learnt about trailers there....
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

You cant be late until you show up.

Me and the GN were definately the slowest out on the track, but it doesn't matter I had a great day and the bike lived to do it again (even though writing it off would have been cheaper than freighting it home).
It was my second trackday in a week (and ever) and although this time there wasn't the huge rush of going fast and pushing my limits I definately think I had haigher corner speeds and more lean, the front let go at one stage so I must have been pushing it a little.
A big thanks to Frosty and all the crew for putting on the day and putting up with our shit.
Thanks to LooseBruce as well for the rider training offers, I was an idiot not to find time for it. I'll have to do it next time.
Sorry if I held anyone up out there, it's definately time for a new bike before the next trackday.
