ive had no troubles with Quicksilver in the two years I've been with them, before that had good old xtra, they were good too.

My belief is that, like most things, you get what you pay for. Most top isp's have a similar going rate. I'm on ihug, and have no problems with it at all. It is one of the more expensive options (I'm on 56K dialup), but you get good service aswell.

Get free, or really cheap internet access, and e-mail for that matter, and you also get things like overloaded lines/too many clients (making access much slower, some dialup issues, getting booted off, your modem doing nothing for a few seconds then resuming d/l), spam in your e-mail, etc...

On the other hand, if you are with Xtra you get the best of both worlds - overloading at peak times, plus expensivity

Tell me more about Telstra Jetstream? Is it the same as Paradise ADSL?
I'm paying $135/month for phone/internet/Saturn TV bundle. That's 4gig/month traffic. probably double that this month.

It is yet to come out, if you still have fridays harold there is a mention about it in the buisness section or else the normal one, go look! Basically it said that they wanted unlimited speeds and data caps for $27 a month sold to telstra which would make something like $40 for the connection at unlimited fullspeed but now it is just 256k and 2mbit for the same price, still not inline with OECD regulations or something (from memory). Better than what we had but still shieet.
