It was great to meet a whole lot of new and familiar faces.
Had a great time, can't wait for another!

ODO came in at 780km for the days excursion, with 90 odd percent of that at full noise or just below. Thank you Honda-san for creating an amazing piece of kit.Originally Posted by bane
Great day, good weather, excellent company, thanks all.
P.S. Man, is my arse SORE!!!!
P.P.S. I got kidnapped by Wee-strom and taken down Old Coach Rd towards Rotorua, so thats why I missed catching up with you to head back towards Hamilton. Still had a good speed run down the #1 Rd that runs parallel to Hwy 2 (no cops) fro Matamata.

Sorry for not meeting you Tauranga riders. Got dragged out on the boat this morning to go fishing. Would rather have met up as I hate small boats.

We went back to Whakatane for lunch at a nice seaside bar/resturant, then headed back along the coast to Tauranga - nice sweeping corners.
Cheers for the day out guys

I gotta get on to the find-a-bach site and see if theres any for rent at Ohope. The kids would love that spot. Get the wife to drive them down, then I'll join them later on the bikeOriginally Posted by wayne kohi

I'm still buzzing about what a great day it was, even though the little 'fiddy was struggling to keep up. It just stops at 140, so I either need another 20-30hp under my arse, or 20-30 kilos off it :spudbooge I know which I'd rather have

Great ride guys & I counted 17 bikes phew!!,big variety too, loved the trump and that Hoysung cruiser can bloody move, like a big mirror going along with all that chrome.( Nice tho")
Good to catch up again Darryl & Bane and meet a few new faces.
Sorry about you flow Goblin( Shit! she always goes around me on a bloody corners just when I think I'm starting to get the hang of it again)

As already mentioned I came back across to Paengaroa via Old coach Rd with a few in tow. Was unfamiliar territory for me so a few stops and back ups over shooting the turnoffsbut looked a good one to ride, plenty of corners & dips & hollows.
Got home bang on 3.00 after covering 260kms.
Glad to see Kravy got home safe & thanks for the effort, that is usually the sort of mileage us Rotovegas riders cover when we do the Coro ride.
Tauranga & Rotovegas riders will definitely have to get together more often for this sort of event.
Cheers

Thought about it but only got a couple while we waited for the Tauranga boys to turn up.

Put more effort in next time. Think Bane may have got some???

At the end of the long straight just out of town, turn left by the fire station... they have some pretty good baches at the motorcamp 2 or 3 k's down there, with golf just down the road too.Originally Posted by Krayy

		Hi every one:spudwave:
Not much more to add, lots of fun, enjoyed it. Some very nice roads the other side of Ohope. Thanks Tony for that last half hour
Cool to catch up with the few guys that I knew and to meet new peoples, great cross section of the community.
Funniest moment was waiting for a light to change at shared rail/road bridge and this funny sv motor in a adventure bike went toddling through just on green and got the holeshot

Got to know how that light works man or your toast
That adventure bike was a mighty V-Strom
