The speed limiter does work on your bike

Hey, I could be keen. I've been meaning to meet some CHCH KBers for a while.

All comes down to whether I'm actually up and running by then though. I'm hoping my bike will be done by early next week at the latest, but it'll depend on how my part hunt goes...

Working, unless it's an evening ride. In which case I'll probably magically get that day off, go out to Ruapuna and be too knackered to go. Usual story then....

Could be keen on Saturday morning. I mentioned to my daughter this morning that we should go for a ride on Friday but Saturday would be fine if she is keen.

Would probably need to be back by 2:00 - 2:30.

Let you know asap, if so I'll be taking it easy.

You're lucky enough to be in a position to afford a bike capable of such speeds and feel comfortable at it. Speeding tickets are obviously not of concern.

Can't do those speeds and already pay too much tax.

Can't afford leathers so prefer slower speeds encase of a spill.
Bike hasn't been out of city limits for 4 years, don't want to suddenly stress it too much and have an unaffordable break down.

90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.

Count me in if that's cool.

Have not met roks or sefer (I don't think). A nice ride in the cool evening weather would be nice. Was going over anyway to recce the Bruce Apartments, anyone know where they are in Akaroa?

Going out via Gebbies pass, or returning that way? Might be the small bike, but the straights out through Hawsel get a bit dull after a while.

Hmm... if I'm feeling crazy might trade in the GSX on the '04 zx10 at Norjos', could use it as a 'run in' trip (think there's time to sit my full licence test by Saturday?)
