Hmmmm, I live about 2 mins away from the bridge before the turn off so I might just meet everyone at the bridge. 29k's in to Port Waikato and 29k's out then back home for me after a burger and chips of course. I went for a ride out there last night to check out the road conditions and it all seems to be pretty good.

    hey : )

stifarms and I have just moved but did live on whangarata rd!
The ride out to the port is a nice easy one, but make sure you finish it by doing the onewhero loop, the ride up is nice!
Basically you turn right by the Te Kohunga rugby fields, follow the road right up and turn left.
It spits you out back down by the bridge.

There is a short bridge you cross over just before you turn in to head to the Port.

For those who aren't familiar with the area I think it might be a good idea to meet at the Bombay MacDonalds carpark area. Day and time is still to be confirmed but I will let everyone know hopefully today.
