PMCC round 2 Taupo -Jan 15

Well KBers tis time for round 2 of the PMCC club series.
The new sweeper has settled down heaps with good traction now.
    Still on the old track.
classes will be as per last round with f1/f2/f3 tards/clubbie /posties/pre89/and 150/250 streetstock.
Bucket guys --an idea here--front up and enter streetstocks -if enough of ya front youll possibly have ya own class

No they wont.As club scrutineer I can advise you that they will not have buckets at the next round.Restricted to 150 streetstock/no buckets. That is still under discussion but we do hope to run buckets as part of our series next year.Im trying my best to get the club to understand that this would be a better class than classic single due to lack of numbers.

Well thats stupid, so that means I can't enter my 125cc 4-stroke bucket in streetstock? Was thinking of coming, but won't if that's the case.

    Wrong, sorry

As mike said, the club recently voted in a new class, aircooled pre '89 singles, Nothing motard. But it isnt a very popular class and we have to try and convince the club that buckets would be a better bet. The general feeling of the club so far, is that the buckets will be boring at taupo and with such high lap times... will slow the day right down.

Thats BS, I reckon some of the buckets would embarass some of the bigger bikes. I would be surprised if the slowest buckets would be much over the 1.05 mark, so just make the bucket races 5 laps instead of 6 or 4 even. Not too big a deal. We race on the full track at levels and consistently beat other RG150's in streetstock and normally get lapped once on a 6 lap race, around 12-15 seconds a lap slower than the fastest 150's.

You dont need to convince me, im one of the main names pushing to include the buckets! Due to huge workload lately i havnt been able to get to the club meetings for a few months. 5 lapswas what i was thinking as well.
