    Paddock stands

Hi guys just to give you heads up, I have nearly completed fabricating a batch of rear paddock stands.

Once I have completed them (hopefully by the end of the week) I will offer the first 5 at a very competitive rate to Kbers and then put the rest on trade me and see how they go.

I will post pics when they have been powdercoated etc, but they are universal stands, strongly built, under the swing arm types, with lateral locking adjusters etc. KB price will be about $100 eclusive of freight.

I know how pricey these things can be, which is why I am making some cos I want a good quality stand at a sensible price too.

If you are interested give me a shout.

Could be very interested, however, just to throw a spanner in the works . . . would they work with the swingarm on the Aprilia (which has the little lugs that protrude out on either side for a stand), and is there any chance they might also work on the CR?

    Cheers mate.

Yep I'm keen. The paddock bobbin mount snapped off my swingarm in a crash so I need an "under-swingarm-lifting" type stand now.

Banana and single siders, sorry for the mo. In the future I may accommodate you.

I will post the rough dimensions soon (I am in the middle of welding the stands up) later. The important dimensions are the clearance between the uprights, the adjustment range lateraly, and the vertical height to the supports. They lift my bike easy and that weighs 230kg plus and has a 170 section 17" rear.

A couple a days too late Swanny, bought my new rear paddock stand from Cycletreads just last Saturday, otherwise would have been keen to give you the business. Also imported some ali bobbins thru eBay and got the bobbin kit thru C/Treads as an addition. Certainly makes it easier to maintain the chain with one of these when you don't have a centre stand, and bike takes great pics on one too!!

    Quite possibly

Rough dimension are. Clearance of 380 mm to get the stand under the swingarm, (remember your bike will likely be sitting on its side stand); height to base of support is approx 360 mm, lateral adjustment 50 mm either side.

You can still use the under swingarm stand if you have bobbins.
