National Points races, KK update after 4th round

Just wanted to let you all know that KK is going great guns with one round to go. I have been to all four rounds so far and I can see how much his riding is improving. His laptimes are steadily getting better and better.

He got a 10th placing in one of his races at Levels. Now that may not sound great, but trust me, to come 10th behind riders of the calibre of Terry Fitzgerald, Jason Easton, Jason Nairn et al is no mean feat. Admittedly Andy Bolwell had a DNF in that race which gave Logan one more placing, but don't let that take anything away from the calibre of Logan's riding. The pace at these races is hot hot hot - lap records have been falling left, right and centre. Overall at Levels Logan came 12th for the meeting, and is currently in 15th place in the championship.

Note that I'm not in any way wanting to take anything away from Two Smoker's achievements in this class - he's currently in 11th place in the championship having done the first two rounds.

This is simply a comment on the dedication of Logan to bettering his riding.

Well done Logan. Good luck at Ruapuna - I'll be there cheering you on. Any KB'ers who go to the track, do go and say "Hi" to Logan - he's on the blue #35 Formula 3 bike.

    Being frustrated is disagreeable.

But the real disasters in life begin when you get what you want.

I think the commitment and dedication for a young rider from Auckland to come down and do all the South Island National meets is amazing!

As said in another post, Logan, I think you did really well at Levels and hope the engine holds this weekend... I have a feeling you will do really well at Ruapuna... up, up and away my friend!

    Good luck! See you Saturday!!

Good going Logan. The track knowlege you aquire this time around will set you up for any future nationals. Missed you not being at Taupo as its guys like you I use to see if I'm improving. But then again my placing improves by one by you not being there
