Donation Time

We've been saying the usual nice things about how great this site is on various threads, so I figured it must be more than a year since I did this, so I have just transferred some money to SpankMe's bank account as a donation to help the running of this site - not a huge donation or anything like that. However I'm happy to contribute something the equivalent of a pseudo subscription - how about you?

I started doing this a year or two back when I quit my subscription to Motorcycle Online once I had found this site was up and running. I know LB and a few others provided support a while back too and I can't remember who started the idea off, I am sure there is a thread about it, I just don't have the time to find it.

OK dumb me, I just found the thread after all its on sticky http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=214 just I tried search first and thought I'd be looking for a needle in a haystack given the results that came up.

No pressure here, if you can afford it fine, which is what I do about once a year, but that's why I didn't mention any amounts - that's purely your choice for your circumstances.

Better not give SpankMe too much all the same or else he might have to get GST registered or declare it as income earned or something silly to keep IRD happy.

I gave up on Paypal sometime ago and just got his bank account number from him and do a direct transfer on internet banking.

Well this thread didn't go very far with only about 65 views when I come back to it today. Does that mean you are all on the bones of your arse or you just like things for free so you don't read anything starting with "donation"?

yep - i set up an auto payment 6 months or so ago - it's only $5 a month (two little kids you know), but it all helps - and if 30 of us did it.....

Good on ya mate! Sounds pretty generous compared to what I used to pay the Yanks.
