It's better to Burn out than to Fade away - Cause thats value for money!!
Trouble is, noise control don't bother to do anything - the problem is the devices are being operated outside the council regulations and they either aren't aware of those regulations or think that because the noise is not necessarily too loud, there is no problem. One refused to do anything about it the first year because he was scared there was actually someone in the orchard with a gun!Originally Posted by Jackrat
I've just fired off a strongly worded letter to the council, pointing out that this is the third year in a row we've had problems with them being operated outside 7am-8pm and as we get bugger all for our rates anyway, I expected something to be done about it! I'll let you know how I get on.
Road Rash - the owners come up to the property most weekends so are there when these things are going off - they don't give a stuff, reckon they don't even notice it! They probably live next to the hospital or airport so are used to annoying noises!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
I live in wellington and have more noisy toys that most guys around the place, where do they live?
Cheers, I'll let you know when I find out, I've got a feeling it's in an apartment though, and they're not so easy to target!Originally Posted by Timber020

They wouldn't work on Maggies. They're smart enough to tell between an ordinary van and one with a 12 gauge pointing out the door.
Speed doesn't kill people.
Stupidity kills people.
