Regardless of ugly or not, the boy was/is 14. And yes he is a child. If his parents hadn't come in when they did, who would have had to pay child support if she'd had another child? Adults know better, at least they're supposed to, children don't.

I don't believe for one second that "she thought he was 18". How long had she known him? Long enough to drop her pants and offer him a chance to sit on her knee - obviously but long enough to find out his name or age probably not.

If you go to Whangarei, and yes this has been in the paper. What you will notice is that that at 3am in the morning there are young girls and boys around the ages of 6 and upward wandering the streets. How is it possible for a parent to know where their children are at all times? You can't check up on them every hour on the hour
