    Its definitly a Taranaki thing.. Aparently taradise (as teh locals call it) is the swinging (as in wife swapping) capital of NZ..

    I think the story was although he'd "run away" (his words) his parents (mother) turned up and caught them at it hence the charges.

    No. Wanganui has that title sewn up.

    There was, however, this Taranaki dude who went to a wife swapping party and left with a farm bike in reasonable running order.
