Rotorua to Kawhia Sat 11th Feb

Rotorua & Taupo bikers to meet BP Koutu ready to leave at 9.00am
Meet & pickup Tauranga riders at "Tapapa "SH5 (turnoff to Matamata/Okoroire)
Proceed to Putaruru via Whites Rd. Onto the Arapuni Rd and follow this all the way to Kihikihi. Turn left into SH3 and motor on down to Te Kawa and turn right. (S/S on cnr) Then its follow your nose out to Kawhia for lunch.
When everybody has had their fill talked shit enough & is sufficiently recovered we will be on our way to Waitomo via Harbour Rd, through Waiharakeke, Kinohaku turning left at Te Anga Rd and onto a break at Waitomo.(Yes i have amap )
At this point we can either proceed south to TeKuiti then go back to Rotovegas via Bennydale & Mangakino or we can shoot back up SH3 to Kihikihi and return the way we came.
I am open to suggestions, but please keep it simple; we do not want to get lost on “gun” back roads:slap:
I also think it is a good idea to have a several stops on the way to replace fluids and get rid of some if necessary.
Not forgetting the Hamilton guys, you may like to meet us at Putaruru or Te Kawa.
We will need to have a designated “tail end Charlie” that is familiar with the route/area.
    All bikes/bikers welcome.
If you intend coming please register so we have an idea on numbers.

Yes! most rides seem to be on Sunday I guess because of sports/work etc commitments, but several people had requested a Saturday ride. thus the timing for this one.
Be interesting to run a poll on the better day to run a ride for most people.

Due to a spur of the moment ride. My front tyre is now pretty much shagged and will be dealt to good and proper on the way to and from the Paeroa B.O.T on the 19th.

Get heaps of pics this time aye Tony.......
