    Pulse generator??

    Hi guys,

i have just gone out to the garage to check the pulse generator readings,

and............. not good, well i dont think so.

    The manual says i need a resistance of 315 - 385 ohms

well, i have 112 ohms on one pulse coil and

    1 ohm on the other.

does this suggest that it is knackered??

but to be truly honest, i dont knoe 'exactly what i am doing.

if any kind kapiti man would like to help out a 16 year old boy,

    then be my guest.

    Cheers, RG

    Why

I can't help wondering why you would check the resistance of you pulse generator. Is the bike going ok?
I would say, that if the readings you got were that low, the bike wouldn't run, if it does go, then posibly more likely to be that an error was made in how you tested it.
Only my opinion of course, I've been known to be wrong a lot:slap:

you gotta watch what you say around deeze 'ere parts.. you get all sorts offerin help

have you checked the battery? Could be just a flat battery. Else if that's all charged up ok, and all the wiring looks to be intact with good contacts between all the points, then yes, it could be poked.
