Smile Auckland Ride Saturday 28th Jan

Ok, if the weathers fine, we've decided to meet at Papakura Autobhan BP at 9:30 am and depart at 10 am.... heading to Coromandel and back.

    Hello All,

Just wondering if some of you from Auckland would like to get together and ride to some place (yet to be decided; open to all suggestions) on Saturday 28th Jan if the weather is fine?

    Cheers,

    John

I was thinking of heading south to Port Waikato or Raglan or the Coromandel, etc .... quite happy to go where ever the majority of those coming along want to go to. Just want to be riding :-)

Ive never been to the Coromandel before so it sounds like a good idea to me.... what route do you usually take?

I'll probably be doing coro, but at a relaxed pace with the missus on the back. Leaving early.

    Anti-clockwise from Kopu is best.

Usually through Miranda to Thames then either clockwise or anti clockwise doesn't really matter both ways are pretty good.

If everyone wasn't a bunch of Coronation St masturbaters they would of organised themselves to go on the Northern Exposure Tour BUT they would rather curl their hair and fuck the neighbours dog.

    Why do I bother?

Well Im going to be going up North to 90 Mile Beach on the Waitangi day weekend.... plan to ride up taking pretty much the same route you are and spend two nights there and then ride back on the same route you are too....

Therefore need another ride to go on this Saturday.... and the Coromandel idea sounds good.

How many are in for a Coro ride?

Hey did you see there is also another ride on Saturday at 10:30am leaving from Botany Downs to go through Whitford, Maraetai, Kawakawa Bay, Kaiaua etc...?

Do you want to tag along with them or are you more keen to head to Coro?

Never noticed the other ride to Kaiaua and still cant find the thread about it. Ive been to Kaiaua a few times already tho and a ride anywhere else would be better.... doesnt really need to be Coro....
