Haha, I think we stick to just meeting and deciding from there

Probably not a good move to send the slowest and -almost- smallest bike up the hill first to "sweep" the road, I heard that there is a certain green thing around that would be much more suited.......

Given that I stick completely to the speed limit also you guys would have caught up in a matter of minutes.

I wonder if we have a sneak, or they are just reading it and are not actually members. Anyway, if the sneak reads this then here is a personal message from your friendly local Vasaline agent, enjoy!

Well what a night of shinanigans. I wondered how long it would take the cops to start looking out for us on Thurs. Or one in particular anyway. It was bound to happen but at least it's getting darker these days so we eventually won't be doing the TRTNRs. Hang on - that sound like submission! We'll be somewhere else at a diff time in the week instead!

I figure all we can do is....
    1) Get a cop detector (going to look into it next week).
    2) Vary the roads we use a bit more.
    3) Never post personal details like real names or where we live cause big brother is watching.
    4) Possibly all take off our plates (you like that one don't ya boys in blue that are watching!), allthough that's not my prefered option. Actually, I'd prob only do that if I was riding by myself.

You know, you really should change your log in name. Still, just so long as everyone knows my real name is cameron....(resident of 19 dangleberry grove, newtown ph 463 2259)

Too true Velox. Ok, from now on no-one discuss the route online and we can decide on the night at the ''meeting place''

Radar will be on as soon as I find the connector cable (er, cam.. about that. swap you some indicators for it? please?)

Yeah, but we hardly ever do anyway. And in Wgtn there's only a few options where we can go. I think more radar detectors is the key.

So that's what a road block looks like.
Our friendly boy in Fluro looked a bit pissed when he asked me where had I come from and all I answered was "that way"...pointing behind me.

I felt like a rolling target tonight.
If they can put in that much effort into trying to catch one bike, imagine what they could acheive with the "boy racer" problem.

Seriously tho....Glad no one got hurt as these things have the potential to go horribly wrong.......not recommended.

Velox- a radar only gives you a 2-3 second warning though, and it cant detect laser unless they leave it on (which they dont, they simply point it at individual targets and press the trigger). This basically means you are safe 20-30km/hr over the limit but with anything over this you wont have time to rub off enough speed before they get a lock on. This gets us back to square one if you are doing 140+, which means you have to run\hide otherwise your gonna be walking home.
Intrestingly enough though, laser jammers are not illegal (even though radar jammers are). Anyone have one and can offer some advice?

I dunno about that UB - I don't think we've ever had any crashes on a TRTNR have we? Apart from a couple of wheelie ones which don't count. And people don't usually ride that dodgey, as in dangerously or outside their abilities. Fast yes but not unsafe.
Oh - or were you meaning the fact that they put up a road block?
[EDIT] Oh hang on, you prob meant people hooning away from the cops. Yeah - I agree, that can def turn out nasty sometimes.

Maybe you can ask Spankme for a special place on KB where only senior members or approved peoples can view certain threads?

Not unless the ride home counts. The rider formerly known as Ramius did himself and his GSX250 considerable harm under the Ngauranga overpass about two years ago.

He actually came into work just the other day. He's going back to Gisborne in a week or so for another operation. He seems to be doing ok, but he is quite down about not riding again.
