There is actually some blue sky trying to push through.

Will reconsider and decide closer to 6.00pm.

If the roads have dried, I'm riding.

I remember a particularly good RTNR a year and a bit back, the Pie Cock hill road had been opened that day after a particularly shitty piece of Wellingtons finest weather. We'd gone straight to the old hangout instead of riding, but at about midnight, someone said "I've got a good idea!"

Never one to be left out, I aggreed it was indeed a "good idea", as did two other dickheads.

We climbed on the bikes and decided we'd go have a look-see at the road condition. The two Gixxer mounted pilots in matching Violators got a bit of a gap on their comrades and soon reached the sumit, both having a few good "moments" on the way through. After a cigarette at the top, and waiting a bit, they thought they'd best tootle back towards Pauatahanui to find the other two.

Sure enough, parked at the side road about a third of the way down, was the Fizzer and SP1, both owners shaking their heads having experienced a syncronized spin out in the silt on the road. Then in tandem asking/shouting "WHOS FUCKEN IDEA WAS THIS?!"

    Ahhhhh, good times.................
