I was sure this thread was the last bastion of the welly hardcore rider... or at least a wannabee.

    Sheesh!!!

Bloody great ride tonight on the way there - only a couple of times did i have to hit myself and pull my head in after a near drop....(trying to keep up with the faster riders - silly boy) (read wannabe hardcore)
Glad i rode like a nanna on the way back otherwise it would have been 3 bikes down on diesel and not the 2. No injures thankyou very much... and if anyone hasn't got those protector thingys sticking out off their bike i suggest they go and buy some... one had road rash and the other didn't... of course they don't protect the leathers but i guess thats what leathers are for...

Diesel patch(s) wereon the north side of the hill but in the south bound lane... basically on the way back from featherston around the 58 marker -4 or 5k from the top maybe... it was in passing lanes also - i had a few rear wheel spins - luckily i was behind a car and not lent over...

It was the one with the pipe, but I expect you'd already know that by know

Hey Skel an I make up a bit for my wifes errant shit spouting by making a post about the ride?

Very dodgy Diesel spill particularly bad in on the right hand corners coming back up the Featherston side
We also saw fresh evidence of a third crash on another right hander, I thought about Sels1 as he left the pub before us tonight.
    Hope you're ok dude.

I did my highly scientific traction test at the scene,

    with my boot,

and it was pretty fresh and goddam slippery!

Good to meet some new faces tonight too!
Hopefully the next TRTNR is a bit less eventful!

Just trying to think of when I came over must have been about 5pm. Didn't notice anything but wasn't in a hurry.

Enjoyed the ride over to Featherston. Sels doesn't muck around on the Tiger.
I came close to riding back with Sels glad I didn't now

Sorry about the offs hope the damage isnt to bad.

Don't bother doing the Pahiatua Track for a while as a big section (the best) is now all tar and loose chips.

It sure did rain! Absolutely pissed down.

The cars still got in the way though.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
