    aha found it,

ford gt70, around about 4 made but there have been reports of others. it used a 240hp 1977cc all alloy inline 4, although there were plans of a 2600cc all alloy v6 and a 1800cc four aswell, i think they made one of each...
one competed but had to retire due to suspension problems so the good old escort took over. rant finished

what about the quattro? those were mofukers but they had to much weight over the front axle because of the inline 5.. and the mg metro sr6 or something, the name has slipped my mind. they were an atmo v6 werent they?
I think there's still some of the Metros and RS200s rocking around the rallycross circuit in Europe. For me though the Lancia Stratos is still the best ever, and you can get a kit replica which uses a lancia motor that puts out the same as the original Ferrari lump....Siiiiiiddwaaayyyyys

Different car to the GT60. The GT60 looks like a sleeker bigger GT40 (no not 60 inches high either)

It was a bit longer and had stacked circular headlights compared to the rectangular headlights of the GT40. The front spoiler/bumper section was more rounded too. It looked quite different to the GT40 .

That was purely a concept car - actually more of a design study than an actual car. It didn't drive or handle that great but could be driven from point a-b.

kinda like a ford wannabe veyron except that it was way before the veyron. hmmm i reckon it would have handled quite well just not compared to the existing competition, eg f50, macca f1, b-engineering edonis and such like

The existing competion is the Merc/Mclaren SLR, Carrera GT, Murceilago, Enzo, Vanquish, Koenigsegg, Veyron.

    Doesn't mean they're better though.

    Yes to all.
