Bugger. Do the right thing though and don't stoop to revenge. It might be fun for a bit, but it's degrading.

I understood an part of a tree (or plant) on your side of the boundary is removable by you. You're not ok to kill the thing or do anything on their side of the property, but you're good to trim it back to the boundary.

I'm not surprised you're peeved. But they're moving and if you want to drive down their chances of selling and/otr getting a good price, being a noisy neighbour's a GREAT way to do it... (there goes the "no revenge" advice)

Especially when those induviduals are women. They can be unreasonable no matter what.

    Hahaha, I like it.

It all sounds pretty crap to me You'd think people would be able to be reasonable. Or perhaps my hopes for society are too high.

On an offshoot though, isn't it illegal to shoot Pukeko? Since they're a native bird?

How many will it take before their actions are the norm?
Because we hear about an awful lot of very un-Christian Christians these days.

yeah, i know. but thats the same with anything, you always hear about the bad and never really hear about the good things.
there are people who call themselves "christian" and do everthing oppsite to what the bible says, and people like myself who are christian, are assumed are the same.
just like the cliche about bikers, that they are ruff ride harleys and have hot-tempers all the time and start fights, which is not true, but, too people who don't ride bikes or dont know people that ride bikes, they assume every biker is like that.

Exactly! good point Lou. You always hear that it is "only a select few" giving
all the rest a bad name. Its more likely the other way around.

Mind you, you probably want them to move don't you.

Find out where they go to and then do the Roundup thing.

this is sad to hear... i hope your kitty is ok.... maybe as the neighbour accepted it was their cat you could suggest they pay half the bill.. if my pet harmed another i would.
Yes... i think it is complete misuse of the 111 emergency number and they should have been repromanded for using it by the police. i hope their house sells quickly and you get some wonderful new neighbours...
ps...Swazi apparel is awesome.... i'd make good friends with that guy!!

We just started leaving the front door open at night and after a couple of close maulings by the guys he never came back again.
The might look relaxed but belive me their just waiting for that cat to come back

You are stirring, Lou, but that doesn't stop you being right ..... as a woefully large number of unpleasant pms and snide posts in some of the threads on this very forum will attest

I'm not sure about the Shags this guys been shooting but i thought Pukekoes were protected? i got in trouble last time i shot one but that was a few years back, have a look into it and perhaps call the cops the next time he gives it a go.

There's not much you can do about the trees other than what you've done so that sucks.

With the cats fighting, send them a nice letter detailing your vet bills and tell them the next time their uncontrolled and dangerous animal makes it's way onto your property unrestrained then you will take steps to make sure it doesn't again, perhaps check with the spca to see what steps you can take to protect your cat, electric cattle prods are fun.

As for the christian bashing, there are some pretty nasty people of all faiths including those who dont have any faith, I dont go taring non christians because one of them murdered my grandfather.... perhaps you should pull your head in and think before commenting on people you dont know
