Buckled Wheel

Hey I've got a buckled (slightly) front wheel on my GSX600F. Does anyone know if it is possible to straighten them. Or have a wheel floating round that would fit. The tyre size is 120/70 17"

There's a company in Cambridge that can fix them.

In the meantime, your wheel will have a bunch of numbers and letters on it. There's be "F's", J's" and probably a 3.0. Get all those numbers and letters written down, and get someone at a Suzuki dealership to troll through all the wheels that will work on your GSX. Those codes are more important than the tyre size, but your tyre size tells me it's probably a 3 inch wide rim with a 17 inch diameter.

Post them here too so people can check.

Brilliant Marty, that's them!

They fixed my TRX after I bent the front rim hitting a rugby ball sized rock that fell off a truck in front of me.

They organised repainting the wheel, and including freight & GST the all up cost for what looked like a brand new wheel was about $230.

there's a powder coating (NZ Powdercoating) place just down the road from smythes that could finish it nicely - the foreman there rides a mint xjr1300 and does an awesome job

Thanks guys, Just had a look at the wheel, it has J17xMT2.50 written on it so I guess it is a 2.5" wide rim 17". I'll have a look into the company in cambridge regarding straighting it as that definitely would be the way to go.
