I've heard Corbins sit you back further than stock, if you don't want that contact McDonalds trimmers (I think the name is right) in Tauranga to rebuild your stock seat. He does a good job from what I've heard.

Better than good, and more comfy than Corbin.

    Hello snuffles

My father in law owns McDonald Motor Trimmers.

Its a very very common problem on the bandits we are changing at least 1 bandit set every two weeks.

And we currently have in the stables a 99 bandit 600 ourselfs.

The best way to get a seat to suit you, is to have you and your motorcycle come pay us a visit in tauranga. that way we can shape the seat to your liking. We can work around a time you are here. If that does not suit, you can courier us your seat, on a monday morning, so we can recieve it tuesday, we return it thrusday so you have it back before the weekend. Include in package the problems you are having, if you want seat lower (also a common problem), or shape of passger seat, or just a general overhaul.

    Contact

    mac@trimit.co.nz, or ring 07-5787903

And talk to them, about problems and arrange a time. The average cost of a seat is somewhere normally between $400-$500 It really depens on what you want done

Note - Website is way out of date.

    Hi Snuffles

McDonalds rebuilt my Blackbird seat. Did repeated ~800 km days with no ill effects on the Southern Cross. Fantastic job.

How long does a rebuild take? I'm going to be in town during the week of the 12th Jan.
    And how much?
    PM me if it's easier.

Lou i think its past the 12th of Jan

But any hour, its really depends on what you want done. to the seat, but we can do it in a day if needed, but we like one or two days.

We can also get any logo embroded in to the seat you are wishing, if you bring it down on a floppy disc or simlar, we can get it put in to the seat.

Best bet when you know of a time you looking at coming down email mac@trim.co.nz just say Cajun send you. price sorta ranges in the $450-$500 mark, for a full custom seat with new custom cover.
