    Sweet Ride!

Well all went well, met up in Bombay 9 bad ass machines in all and headed out through Tuakau then stopped after the bridge to check everyone was still with us and also to have a look around for any Hamiltron riders but none could make it unfortunately. Found that we had a late arrival (Peripheral on the VTR250) just saw us leaving Bombay - Perfect timing eh Kurt.

Roads were slighty damp in places but roads were ok in general.

We all made it safely to the takeaways and convienent pub next door which we didn't realise was there till tonight - Bonus! . Food was ok but took for ever!. The blondies behind the counter were more interested in talking to the local stud muffin and Apple. Apple got his meal hand delivered with a smile (must be that horny looking red TL-R of his ) - everyone else had to wait and wait and wait and then remind them of their orders then wait some more. Food was excellent value for money but super slow service.

All in all was a good after work ride and was good to meet some new faces.

Good to see Leong putting that new SV through its paces down that straight mate!.

Look forward to the next one guys!.

Good ride guys, nice to meet a few more KB'ers, and some who live nearby too. First evening KB ride for me, and was cool following all you guys on the way home at sunset. Interesting watching the string of bikes ahead and the lines you were taking.

Shot1gun - Next time we'll have to meet earlier and head down via Hunua!! Shame we were so late leaving, otherwise we could have goen home that way too.

Hey fishslayer, thanks for putting on a great ride, when,s the next one.
good ride down to the port, had a burger and chips very slow service, the little blonde behind the counter made the wait worthwhile. food was good when it finaly arrived
Met some great people, we all had a bite to eat or a drink had a good chat with
some of the other KBer's while still "waiting" for my order, by the time it arrived it was near time to leave.
Had a great ride back need to practice my cornering ran wide couple of times more rides like this and should get it sorted.
    cheers guys that was fun.

Thanks Josh and Sarah and thanks to the rest for the company.

    Good ride out, nice pace.

The wait for grub kept my worms singing and yodeling for a while but as was said, the friendly jail bait behind the counter made it reasonably worthwhile.

The ride back a little more relaxed as it was dusk, but heading home from Drury, I think I picked up a sizeable amount of New Zealand's insect population. One of the hassles of riding at night in summer, is the fact you are going to get the internals of numerous endoskeletons plastered all over your jacket and visor.

Yeah tell me about it!, I had to ride most of the way back with my visor up as its to dark to have it down once the sun goes down, got a big mutha f*cker of a terodactile hit me in the corner of the eye at about 130k - was bloody stingin all the way home!.

    Mate, thats no good.
You're gonna have to get a clear visor for the evening rides aye?

Bit dangerous riding at dusk with the visor up when all the critters are out looking for peepers to poke.

Yes, she will go far me thinks, knows how to handle people - (called me "sir" twice too). And anyone who can make people wait 45mins? for $2 chips, and not get any real complaints must be doing something right....
