    G'day all (HeyJoe2)

    G'day all,

A quick note to say hello. New to posting in forums and still finding my way around.

Got a new bike a week ago ('02 VN1500 Mean Streak) and have been working on getting familiar with it. It's been a long long time since I rode a cruiser style bike so it's like being back at school so I will be taking it easy to start with. They have changed a lot since the early 80s in handling, comfort and power. But we will get there.

The bike (ex Japan imported) didn't come with an owners manual or service manual so I may fire a few questions into the forum now and then until I can get hold of these.

    Regards,
    HeyJoe2

    Hey HeyJoe2, (Hey everybody!)

Welcome to the site, and welcome back to biking. Remember to use the search function to see if something has been discussed before, read the FAQ's, and post in the right section. You got this in the right place so you're doing better than most of the regulars!

Enjoy the (re)learning process. And don't feed the animals.

of course you could always come along to Harringtons (Belfast) tonite to meet some of the KBers from chch.
Scumdog is in town (from Balclutha) so we are showing him the sights of the city.... err well Belfast at least, I gave him the guided tour of the Akaroa GP yesterday
(its VERY handy having a cop along for the ride on that road)

Oh so we're animals now??!?! Come here and say that, I'll bite your head off!! Of course that would have a completely different meaning if Dover had said it...
