    Talking Front fork stand

Desperately wanted to beg, borrow or steal for the remainder of this week, 1 front forks stand.

I went out to the garage in the weekend to take the bike out and the front tyre was so flat the rim was almost on the floor when I sat on the bike, I knew it had a very slow leak but it seems to have got much faster in the last fortnight.

I was already trying to arrange some other tyres but in the meantime it would be handy to at least be able to get the front on a stand so I can take the rim off and hopefully take it and aforementioned tyres down to the shop to be fitted. If I can't get the tyres in time I might just have to buy a new one or be bikeless for easter weekend.

Surely you can get a scissor jack under the bike, Eddie?

I use a John Houben rear race stand for the back, and scissor jack under the bottom of the motor, and it holds the bike steady enough for me to get the whole front end off...

Do you want to borrow a scissor jack off me? or maybe the rear race stand?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Big thanks to Bung Bung for the offer and a serious thanks to Wkid for sorting me out completely.
