Blimey... the cruise to Half Moon Bay was never that eventful...

If you want to mod a boat, mod Tiger Cat or Harbour Cat (HMB keeps getting that one). Come to think of it, sink 'em both. At least Fullers got rid of Harbour Eagle, now that was an excuse of a boat.

A lot don't like Jet Raider, being a mono hull, but it makes it more fun rolling in the little waves.

nah, scary was thick thick fog, leaving auckland in morning, crew in wheel house with eyes skinned tooting our little horn.

Suddenly a massive booming horn from above, and a bow from a container ship comes out of the fog, we turn away, and it goes past... we were as close as a fullers boat has ever been (besides too close, when some boats have docked on each other, or rocks )

edit: Yes, used to catch the HMB service, 3.5+ years for uni, but never ran late enough for night tests at uni, now I use the bike. I saw Starflyte cruising at 27.8 myself, from the upper deck, looking down into wheelhouse.

oooo, but that would be called Superflyte

pity ARC doesn't seem to realise public transport is needed (the family also uses it to get to the cruise ships for holidays, makes it damn easy). Except I also realised the bike was a better option than the ferry.

catch 22, more people will use it if it runs more regularly, but there will only be more sailings if more use it
