    Rossi quick in F1 car

    http://www.crash.net/news_view.asp?cid=6&id=124803

9th fastest out of the 15 F1 regular drivers.....not bad for only his 4th time in the car.

Yep sure would. but at least he'd make F1 a little more interesting.....don't think they've ever had a driver with personality before

yup not the most exciting is it? but nascar is the worst, it goes like this "lets drive our useless pieces of bad handling shit around an oval for a few hours! we are so technical"

good on rossi for giving f1 a try, but i'd rather watch the bike raceing

I watched something on TV last year, which highlighted on the point that F1 is as boring as doing the dishes for a million people. It then showed the closing few laps of an F1 race from about 10 years or so ago, and the last 2 laps, the leading 3 cars swapped places 10 times, and virtually every corner were tapping each other on the wheels and tail/nose, and not one crash. I knew who won, but I was on the edge of my sofa all over again. Was awesome. And not one Schuey to spoil the race.

With someone like Rossi taring up the track, it'll just be him winning all the time, and it won't be as much fun. First season would be ok to watch, but after that.. pahh.. FIA blows balls too. They have no idea (Eddie?) on how to make it interesting. They just know how to make it more boring.

fwio, the best cage racing has to be saloon cars. BTCC is an awesome class (was..?), haven't seen it for years. V8s aren't too bad, V8 utes are just a crash-a-corner racing. Don't like seeing people injured, but when the odds that anyone can win (not just the biggest budget or best driver of the season) and a race can be make-or-break on the last corner on the last lap, now that's racing.

Motorbikes just rock all the time

    my 2¢ anyway

seems that some people are just built to race regardless of vehicle...good on him, but yeah, love the bike racing!

He didn't complete a lap this morning, straight into the kitty litter.
Maybe Ruebens gave him a tap?

Nicely said buggy. Hell that made me chuckle.

Thats old news, atrocious weather was the culprit. But next day he came 9th. Gotta piss you off if you're actually employed as a driver and a newcomer beats you
    Nice one Bugjuice.
All F1 needs is a lot less wing area, skinnier tyres and no driver aids. Let them have an engine size of 3 litre and max 8 cylinders and anything else goes......then we'd see some fun.
They need to slide them into corners like the good old days. Back when Senna drove Monaco with one hand on the wheel and a proper gearstick, when he'd get out of the car after the race having changed gear over 100 times per lap and his hand would be a bloody pulp. 1500hp Qualifying 1.5L turbo motors.....
Wicked stuff and probably never to be seen again....

All F1 needs is for the Pimp My Ride team to "pimp out" the cars before the season starts! Imagine how awesome it would be to see Schumey out there with 24 inch chromes, fuzzy dice on the spoiler and air bag suspension...

But who watches F1 anyway? A1GP is so much cooler, and to top it off they have boost buttons! Like a real life videogame!
