For Kiwi's and Wannabe Kiwi's in London

This email is doing the rounds , looks like it's an annual event.

So if any KBers have any Kiwi mates in London then pass this on.

Subject: Waitangi Day Circle Line Pub Crawl - This Saturday !!!

    Kia Ora folks ...

Its this Saturday 4th Feb, the famous Waitangi Day Circle Line Pub Crawl where thousands of kiwis make one of the largest pub crawls in the world, so come prepared... its a day full day full of carnage !!!!

For all those who live in Clapham we are meeting at Manor Arms at 10am but the official action starts at Pride of Paddington near Paddington tube station at 11am with the haka under Big Ben at 4pm.

Here is the list of the stations, its region name for the day and most importantly... each pubs name along the way.

    The official rules :
There are, no rules. Join the crawl when you like, drink as much or as little as you like and leave when you like.

    * Be a kiwi and respect the public.

    * Do not under any circumstances use the District line. This is all about the Circle line.

    * No sitting or holding onto rails while on the tube.
    * A drink at each stop. Doesn't have to be a pint - but your first one should be a pint.

    * Buffalo rules apply. Left hand, no pinkie - you know the rest.
    * If a pub is rammed, use some of that famous Kiwi ingenuity and find another one.
    * A 'substantial' can also be called along the way. This is a drink which is larger than a routine skol. It is up to the drinker but should be bigger than your usual minimum. Make sure you've got a witness.
    * A boat race can also be organised between provinces. Normal boat race rules apply.

Spread the word and see you there !!!
