The gene is passed from father to daughter (who isnt affected by it, they are merely carriers), and then on to the son.

Incidentally, it can be passed from a colour-blind or carrier mother to a daughter also. Women can be genetically colour-blind, it's just the chances are a lot lower due to the gene being recessive.

I couldn't read it until I shrunk it either WRT, but that was the one I wanted.
