I'm at about Wednesday most training days.....
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I find with the whole exercise thing that it's more time-efficient to just skip to the "wanting to kill the Anorexia-Poster-Girl/Bimbo-Cheerleader" bit before you start fucking around with any potentially damaging equipment...

Last weekend being a long weekend and mostly sunny I spent it running around the BMX track after my three-year-old son - first time in ages I've seriously run anywhere, with the added "bonuses" of pushing a tot on a bike up steep hills and picking him up when he fell. Still feel like crap and it's another fucking long weekend this weekend and you can guess where the junior daredevil will want to go! Good news/Bad news time: Good news, your son is as obsessed with bikes as you are. Bad news, he's discovered the BMX track!

Seriously, I thought I knew what pain was from the first decent hike or camping/tramping trip of the season after a lazy winter indoors but I didn't know squat about pain - probably because I never tried running up the mountain!

Any more of this and I may have my membership of "Youth Against Fitness" revoked - and I was a founding member FFS!
