honestly, I would prefer more experienced riders than newbies.

If we don't have enough, have to run bigger groups, newbies don't get as much help etc.

If we have more, we can run smaller groups, offer more advice...

but come one, come all, if'n you wanting advice on your riding, this is the place to get it

Luckily I'm not comin..... we wouldn't want me to off-load some of my bad habits now would we

Plus my hair might scare off some of the newer riders
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

As long as we introduce you as a guy, should be all sweet

go to the end of the nw motorway

turn left, right at the end. Before you get to a roundabout, there will be a Shell Station on your left.

I don't think we were hiding from the rain, as there wasn't really any. You sure you didn't just have a sprinkler on when you looked outside?

was a mint ride... approx 47 bikes (i dont know who counted so not sure how exact that is)

had a good toodle on the way up, its nice to take it easy and know that the guy behind you is appreciative of what your doing. Even though it's not impressive to many people on this site, some of the newbies probably thought we were crazy bastards. I can tell you that the guy i was looking after improved a fair bit, now its just getting the KM's under the belt on the open ride coz he's mostly a commuter.

As said, i took it easyish on the way up cruising at 105kmh on the straights, shit i got passed by a cage (a first) and a fucking scooter (also a first).

Gotta say though that texmo's 180 scooter is a good little hoot, definately looked like tristan was having a good whirl on it.

Left early for the ride home as my pillion had to be home earlier than planned. Had a good little blat, catching up to a few that left early (cbr600rr with cool helmet, not sure if that was boomer or not) and eventually macktheknife who played chase after i passed him, but we werent going *that* fast

So yeah, overall i had a wicked time, hope the newbies enjoyed it as much as i did... good to see the usual faces, and talk shit - as per usual, so all in all i suppose you could say it was a typical KB group ride

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
