What an awesome day - thanks to Gremlin and Weasel for the organisation, and all who turned up for the event.

As it was my first KB ride out as a newbie today, and I had a blast!

as one of the "70 k'ers", my thanks go out to our leader (sorry mate, forgot who you were) and M1CRO - your experience and knowledge transfer was great.

As terbang pointed out in an earlier post, I had around 380K total on my new bike prior to today, and at the close of proceedings once I got home, this clocked over at 600+ - including my de-flowering as a motorway virgin (dont worry, it didnt hurt - that 1st service for the bike is only a few days away if this keeps up

It was quite amazing to look in my mirror on the way back - got stuck behind a maggot (campervan) to see the stream of bikes behind me - pretty damned awesome...

Look forward to the next KB Day out!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

Thanks guys... me and Gremlin just put the ride together, sort a route and a time... it's the experienced guys who give up their time to look after and coach the newer riders who deserve the credit for a great ride.

I'm crap with names so no doubt I've missed more than a few...

    Terbang
    M1CRO
    SpankMe
    Gareth_d
    Robnz
    Leong
    Ixion

erm... and I know there's more, these are the guys who deserve the credit, apologies if I've forgotten your name already...

Yeah well its all in a paint job eh and I only had it painted last month so I was still on the steep part of the learning curve myself.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

Bloody awesome ride with a bunch of top blokes & chicks absolutely no hiccups at all in quite varied weather & road conditions. Once again I really enjoyed meeting new and old faces..

    Selamat Terbang.. Bruce
Couldn't have put it better Bruce - it was a great group of riders.

You and Doug set a good pace - warm enough to push the wee bikes a little and get some good open road riding in, but not too hot. The Baby Bandit got a good stropping keeping in touch with Doug's ZX6R and the Big Bandit on the straights (Can't help but be impressed by that big-bike roll-on ). Yourself and Doug provided sage advice that I'll be putting into practice when I've the chance to get out of all the blardy traffic! (And I will be loosing the Jeans when Kerry At Motohaus gets in some Motoline gear in my size...)

I had a fantastic time riding, yarning and meeting KBers - I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Sunday.

Again, I'd like add my thanks to Weasel, Gremlin and all the other seasoned riders who turned out to help and share their wisdom for a most excellent motorcycling experience. Extra helpings of gratitude to Terbang/Bruce and Doug for guiding our group! Thanks guys
