Wake up sometime between 7 and 9, then head to Uni. Goto bed at sometime between 12 and 3am. Depending on what I'm doing with mates.

    4-6 hours a night.

Drives the wife mad, as she needs 10.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

For a start TraD_MaN if you don't like it that much, get another job. Doing something you like and/or love doing, something you're passionate about. It's noty healthy to do something you hate for people you'll end up hating. Study or get online and find something.

As far as sleep goes I can't remember the last time I got a solid 6-8 hours sleep. I generally will sleep for about 2-3 hours at a time, wake up and try to go back to sleep. That lasts all night. I train 4 mornings a week so I'm used to getting up at 4:45. I'm always tired. It's not a medical condition I'm just shit at sleeping.

Rarely get to bed before 10:30pm and I'm up at about 5am. Doesn't matter if I'm working or not, that is the usual pattern.

I normally get around 7 but ideally I need about 9 to feel good again. Got just over 10 last night. Still haven't recovered from 3 nights in a row of 6 hours or so 2 weekends ago when I went down to ruapuna for the nationals. Can never get to sleep before 10:30ish so that screws up sleep in the week, having to get up around 6:30 to go to work.

one thing I like about the japanese is the sensible hrs of employment , I dont have to start the day job till 2 pm and I dont start actual work till 4 pm
So my morning job , playing with motorbikes , i can start around 10.30 so first coffee would be around 10 ,
which means I am in the pit for around 10 hrs

It doesn't seem to matter what time I get to bed, I invariably wake at about 6am. Went to bed at 1am this morning, woke at 6am, fed the kitten about 7am and put some bread on to bake, then fell asleep again and woke at 9.30am! Most unusual!

When I was a teenager I could go to sleep at 8pm and not wake until about 3pm the following day - my mother used to worry that I had died in the night! In winter I tend to wake at about 7am but we live in the country so there is no need to shut the curtains at night, so I wake earlier in summer.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Well it seems I'm not so strange after all, plenty of people here operating fine on less than 6hrs sleep. I might even try to find what are the minimum hours I need over the next week or so, nothing stupid like 2hrs kip every night but maybe reduce it to 4 to 4.5 hrs as just an experiment. Sometimes at 2 in the morning its still and quite warm outside so I'd like to get out on the bike and go for a ride in the countryside but I feel that I should get some sleep, not need though. Who is up for some 2am rides in ChCh now huh??
