    04 R1 - quick review

Went for a 250k ride today.

Heaps of grunt, massive front brakes, awesome handling, sounds great.

Tony let me loose on it.........thank you Tony.
I thought Tony's 03 superbike was quick, the 04 is just as quick stock standard.

I'll let you know when we get it to Puke for a Friday practise.

As for the short review, I'm better at riding then writing.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

Won't be getting one this week as lotto don't front up for me.............I'll post a message when we go up for a test.
First shipment won't be here for a couple of weeks, the Silver R1 Tony had at Paeroa had way less power then this one, as the silver one was preproduction.

A bit of weight on the wrists but thats about it, no more then most other sportbikes I've riden, no other problems.

What a fantastic day for a ride,
but had stock take and that took all day and most of the night.
May get to the easter egg run if I don't go to Auckland
