Cheers Frostus for a good day. Well organised and run. Good show what. Rear tyre was torn and blistered by the end of play. Might wait awhile before I revisit taupo and wait for some rubber on the track to mellow it out a bit. So, thoroughly enjoyed myself, apart from when some twat backed his bike into my new K6 GSXR at scruntineering and put a big munt in the fairing. Cheers for that you cunt.

Cheers Frosty, it was my first track day and I still have a smile on my face. Spent much of the day trying to catch up with weasel but to no avail. Gave her the learn on the way home though when I managed to steal her bike

Nice to meet so many of you - see you all next time.

Yeah great trip for us welly folk who rode there. Had a decidedly average day on the track and just couldnt go fast. Got the learn from most. Noticed a huge improvement on the trip home so am quite pleased. Was quite nice to be riding fast around a nice and smooth sweeper (unlike Manfield's).

Great to catchup with some of the Aucks, and to meet some new people. Catch ya again real soon.

I told you that you need a different set up to on the farm but you wouldn't bloody listen, so serves you and your $300 tyre right.

Seriously I didn't see ya ride except out there with WT. Pretty sure uou would've beaten me on the day had I tried it on ya though. I plan to get back to where I was pre-bin last year though, and a whole lot more, so be ready boi!

Nice drift in the Suby leaving the track btw The track manager was pretty pissed. I was pissing myself laughing. It's a stupid, irresponsible thing to do Poos...but you pulled it off with far more class than your average Queen St muppet, so all good.
Shhhhhh you twat....don't tell frosty that was me....!!!!

Yer was a fuckin mint day catching up wif everyone....meeting a couple of new faces....and yer I had issuse with my rear tyre it was just ripping to shreads and balling up and letting go coming out of corners...and it let go in a big way a handful of times...once causing a almost very nasty tankslapper..so I just sulked and winged and did a few wheelies [the hangover was a lil bit of a issuse too...errr]..but gutting that a tyre that had 400km on it before the trackday and I think I only did 60km at the track and it ain't a warrentable tyre no more...and oddly it seems to be a comon thing with metzler racetechs that day and the last time I was there...and not just on my bike...hmmm...people running pirelli super corsa pro's and michelin power races didn't seem to get the same problems...might be something in that...
Good to see daryl keeping the team muppet tradition going by havin some squid bin in style...was awesome seening alot of you out there riding...alot of peoples improved shitloads during the day...and everyone seemed to be having a larf and a good time...big ups to frosty,et al....

Hell yeah had a ball...being a track virgin(my cherry has been popped) the first couple of laps were a bit hairy but started to settle down and had a blast

Was very impressed with Stroud and Co flying past me... there is definitely room for improvement for me yet

Did some 'meh' wheelies in the lunchtime session with Poos(even a couple of average stoppies)

Awesome entertainment with the Boomer/MTrousers/and some chick(sorry forgot your name) battle of Medium 600 group...was some good dicing and elbow bashing(nearly) ...got it all on DVD too guys

'LOL' of the day goes to Boomer who for some reason his battery kept going dead when he went to start his bike....strange, had charged it up the nite before??... Whilst trying to figure out what problem could be Dunc mentioned that he would turn the key on for 5 mins beforehand(god knows why)and then would try and start bike(headlights were still connected...........)

Cheers for those who organised everything and kept a few locals up in Camellia court I think on Sunday nite after the racing.... Pity you couldnt get there Frosty but we had a few for ya

Nice to meet whoever I met and cant wait for the next one

Dude, I want a copy of that!!! It was me, Boomer and Keystone, all busy trying not to crash into each other

Hope you got the bit where I went up the inside of Boomer under brakes then we were side by side through the hairpin and the next right until I finally got in front. That was way cool. After that track day I'll ride along side Boomer or Keystone anytime cos I know they're not going to suffer brain fade and punt me off into the bushes.

I was knackered afterwards. A few beers did the trick just nicely. Nobody came out and yelled at us so it was all good.

I admittedly passed someone riding a little two-stroke in the first sess...not without much soul searching and with 4 others making the manouvre before me.

I had a great time hooning around the track, pity though I think I might need some new tyres in a few more months, only had those Dunlops for one year and a full season of racing as well as 4 -5 trackdays, sheeeesh whats that all about???? should last longer dont ya think

I Got a bit more soughted with the track and feel more comfy with it, I think me bike is basically all soughted now so not much to do, maybe a gearbox rebuild re gearing but that would be all.

Shaun Harris can take 100% credit for my bike, was shite now its a race bike true and true, good thing it didnt cost fuck all for him to do it either, I think a bit of Kiwi ingenuity and good sence knowledge as opposed to "lets bolt expensive bits on" goes a long way!!!

Good Day Frosty mate, very well run, I couldnt believe how much track time I got, that was fucken brilliant organising mate!!!
Ive run out of fucks to give

In hindsight kik with the speed of your beast in a straight line it would've been torture for most people to stay behind you on ya for making the trip up mate. Must get down to Ruapuna one day, will you n ya bucket be available to show me some lines?

That was me. I didn't mind. I was more worried about forming a huge campervan-like queue behind me because no-one was supposed to pass (and the potential humiliation of having to pull over so everyone could pass). I didn't see any dodgy passing all day. And I'm pretty sure everyone in the slow group passed me at least once.

What are you talking about it'd indicate 120kmh (125km if flat on the tank) down the straight and up the hill and I passed a lot more people than passed me, you're just lucky I didn't take the FXR out in the fast group and show you up

Got past quite a few in the medium 600 group to on the RD350LC as well, not bad for a bike made before half the people at the track were born

I'll glady show you some lines at Ruapuna if you can keep up
