    Street stock rules.

    Now,

i have read the rules, but,

I have herd that you are allowed to run FXR 150s in the class even though they are slightly modded.

Mine hasnt got much done, just slicks and a carb.

but it is still illigal techincally

    any suggestions...........

Slicks yes, carb no. A couple of the Bucket guys ran there FXR's at the Ruapuna round of the Nats they didnt shame themselfs. You would learn to ride hard to run mid pack, look at it as track time!

As long as it appears stock, go racing! Most streetstock guys wont be too picky unless you start wipping there arses, which probally wont be happening on a fairly stock FXR.

I understood the FXR was allowed minor mods to give it parity with the RG150
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

ok pm SVS he knows the rules for the class, I know we (Vic Club) now alow fiber glass fairings on your bike but I dont think we are aloud slicks in ours some clubs run slicks of a RS 125 from a year before when they are no good on a RS again you are aloud to grind standered cam get a carb kit for your FXR and change the exghaust system on it

    You're not allowed slicks.

    Carb mods allowed.

Fibre glass fairing allowed for vic club anyway.

    Good luck.

The only update since then is to allow fibre glass fairings.

I guess the idea would be to remain as stock as possible, but on a FXR-150 you'll be down quite a bit in the 250's and RG150's. But as it says, its a run what ya brung class. Go for it.
