    IE7 beta 2 problem

I cant edit posts using IE7 beta 2. The fonts and editing do not work properly, so if I make a mistake I cannot delete texts, etc.

This means I also cannot quote existing posts or edit anything. What it looks like is that when you hit del or backspace it does nothing.

Tried IE7 B2 at work, generally an arse looking UI. Guess that's just the pains of using Beta software huh.

yip I think it is an ass looking UI. I bet it was done in xaml for vista (and I dont have the new presentation manager installed). However, apart from where they placed the search bar, it works very well.

I mainly use IE7 for the feeds and the new css stuff

This site is the only one that seems to have probs - allthough I have not tried any other sites using the same. Also the quick post box I notice seems to work well. Its just when I try to quote stuff it fails. Will test again.

yip, its when I try to quote someone - goes screwy

Not an important problem - I wouldnt suggest changing the site for a beta package - I can always use IE6 or mozilla if I must - just highlighting a potential future issue is all

Good old Microsoft releasing Beta versions. They should sort it in the next 3 months, maybe.

I won't even use version 1 of any Microsoft software. You're either very brave, very stupid or were planning to format your machine soon anyway.

M-m-m-m-icrosoft. Too bad you have to have it to play most games eh

I wouldn't touch IE7 for personal use but at work where they like ffox but don't want to implement it (on student machines) I think it would be good if it is a little more spyware resistant. The majority of issues coming in nowadays are spyware related.

Hopefully they get it out of the beta stage and get it working properly - which as said takes friggen ages. XP SP1 anyone...?

I vote for being damn clever as I have very little problems with Mocrosoft.
