    feel for ya.

Hate it when people do that. I been trying to convince the little woman since you first advertised it to let me go talk to Mr Banker but sadly, no. I have to sit on the sidelines and watch a damn nice bike be snapped up cheap.

I feel for you, its disapointing...but if he couldnt afford to pay for it in the first place, then he wouldnt have bid on it, and you probably would be where you are now. The second guy got out bid and thought 'thats me then' and allocated his money else where. I would.
Good luck with the sale none the less. There will enough people bidding in the last 10mins to jack the price up a bit.

not keen on fake bids, the joker guy sorta had a right, if I was bidding on a bike at $7k and it went up and over it, I wouldn't wait 5 days before looking at another bike and I can't expect him too

at least someone else has bid now so looks like it might all be good

I didn't look at another bike. I have four months till I get my full. The only reason I bid on this auction was because of the bargain price. The bike would have then been put in storage if I won.

Over the weekend I spent $1000 on furniture that I really needed but was putting off buying due to the bike auction. Leaving me with a balance of $6100 cash.

At the most I could have offered you $6500 - but Peter Hansen had already topped that...... so I asked you to withdraw my bid.

If you will accept it - if for whatever reason the sale with Diesel falls through - I am still prepared to offer you the $6500. You can keep the spares at that price - and/or sell it to me at a later date.

    unanswered question on auction.

says it all really, brings tears to my eyes thinking about a bargin that passed by. I was kicking myself all day at work thinking I should have gone to see Mr Banker anyway to come up with the $$ and tried to explain it away to the little woman later....

Oh well. Congrats on the sale but if I were you i would be extremely disapppointed at the sale price.

if someone topped your bid, then why would you want yours removed?

My last bid was for $7100

the bid before was $7050 by Peter Hansen

Some called A----something topped my bid by bidding $7150. This was around :10th February 2006, 17:33.

    That's when I posted this:

    I'm off.

    :spudwave:
Then over this weekend I spent $1000 on furniture leaving me with $6100. I could top that up and offer $6500 if the sale falls through.

Yesterday this A.... fellow pulled out after leading the auction for three days.

    Make more sense now??

    Hey Glenn mate.

What he done is all good and up front in my book.

He lost the auction so did other things with his money, which anyone would do if did not get the auction
