Palmy has some great restaurants, depends on what you're looking for. Aqaba is good, reasonably priced and something for everyone. Lone Star has huge meals and lovely food. Pompei Pizza is good. Dejeuner if you are rich - delicious! I've heard the Bathhouse is good too, but haven't tried it myself. Steak Out if you are in the mood for big steaks. Roma is good for Italian. Neros is good, but pricy. And for good value you can't beat the Fisherman's Table - not flash but good basic food. And Highflyers is pretty good too.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Deja nai or wateva, but its a 'romantic' style restaurant but has the best food in the city.

If you are not scared of the cost either Vavasseur or Dejeuner both in Broadway are both about equal and both have one several awards. Been to both on special occasions and loved it
