    Loverly ride ladies.

Good to meet you Jon and a bunch of other new faces, the ugly ones too.

Made love to the Hyosung going through those twisties and enjoyed every minute of the ride until we hit the long stretches of open road.

Who was the guy waiting on the corner of the road with his Camera a little on from Thames? Did you capture my sexy beast purring around the corner?

    Thank you all!

I'm in Tauranga now, gonna study the map tonight and make a decision about my next destination...

Thanks for the ride mate, take it easy on that contraption!

Just a suggestion, if your going to do the west coast some time SH3 is a beautiful road, and Raglan is a beautiful place to stop. If you do go down SH3 be careful going through the Awakino gorge as there are the odd road works.

You'll love the roads around New Plymouth.

The pics aren't much chop. Mostly coz I took lousy shots but the tower in Pisa has got more lean than you guys going through that corner.

Sudeep wants everyone to know that MR = Merican Rider he rides on the right hand side of the road now but Sudeep you need to take corners using one-handed steering techniques to be a real Merican - John will show you how.

Damn, shoulda joined you guys. That MR fellow is lookin pretty good with the pass there. Went from Aklo to Hami to Coro town and back to Akl (no time to do the loop). Saw a bunch of guys stopped at the Mobil in Kopu, around about 4pm, probably y'all I'm guessing.

Not a bad day for it aye, not too hot, and not too much traffic on the 'mandel. Good to be back on a bike again Except for the aching wrists, need a bit of work there I think.

    Another good Coro loop.

Get ready Jon, because that was only a sampling of what you're about to enjoy through the rest of the country.

Tha Jandal: Adding another dimension to "rubber side down"

Jandal [jan-duhl] noun: a mythical entity presiding over bikers
Jandal [jan-duhl] verb: "to jandal" is to involuntarily separate from one's boik.
Jandalled [jan-duhlled] past tense - usage: "bro, I've just gone and jandalled it"

    couple more pics.

What is it about the loop and tyre rapage though?

    - hmm, should I tick Motoracer's pic to warn that it contains Gixxer nudity? Or that the bug-eyed contraption is just plain obscene?
And the tyre is revealing a bit more than it should too. Like LooseBroose, I think some batches of tyres are defective...

Twas a funny ride, can't put my finger on it but i didn't have as much fun as i thought i would, maybe my tyre problems and having to fight the i wana go sideways all the time even when cruising, sure let go easy enough, maybe 6 months off road riding took it's toll on me, honestly i've had more fun riding to work along the motorway, maybe i need to take up stunting full time, maybe i need to start racing? who knows, i threw some new rubber on today, and have learnt my lesson, of "i'll get one more ride out of that rear" (didn't even make it halfway) and had to transport the Gixxer back in style in Sudeeps van with the amount of canvas showing.
Will give a good road blast another shot and see how it goes from there, but if i can find some $$$$ to get the GSXR race prepped some may well see me out there.

Hope the rest of your trip goes well for you Jon, good to meet ya Eddy see you out there soon enough, nice riding too, sudeep damn good to ride with ya again, sorry couldn't hang with ya as you saw the rear was a little loose (xsuse the pun)(is that a pun?) need some work on your stoppies though mate.

    Catch yous later
