Maybe might have to look after the kids on the WE. Let you know a bit closer to the day.

Yeah I forgot that gixxer 6 Hundies can't get past 200Kmh. Custard said he had his yellow peril up to some ungodly speed chasing TL Rider and crew. That was one wicked section of road from P.

thats why i said "bike" lol

    and affman :

if the caliper came off......how did it manage to break the hydralic hose?.......

did the caliper go through the wheel i'm guessing and just ripped the hose off?

Nope i got braided likes but the bit that snapped was the bit that the hose connects to ... So the brake line is fine but the end bit snapped.

yeah especially when you expect there to be brakes to slow you down and when you don't have them it gets messy ......geez i'm guessing you wernt going too hard into the corner then or just really had to go hard lean through it?

Yeh if you read my thread about said incident you'll notice i made a quote::

Kornholio says: if you want to go faster through a corner.... loose the ability to brake.

i'm predicating it has most likely been squished by a vehicle with at least 18 wheels .....at least 50 times

either that or it's happily off to the side of the road

Dont want to be a wet blanket on your search, but we lost the pack ..,shown, on the road north of Taumarunui. Now it happens to be a bit bigger than a calliper, and we never found our pack. So like me you will just have to accept it as one of those embarrassing events that happen occassionally !!
