    New & nervous

Hi, I'm more worried about posting this than anything else! Being one of the mid life crisis riders I'm more familiar with riding than posting threads. Current bike is an old (86) GSXR1100 ... I always wanted one of those.... my wife almost killed me but I can still run faster than her; but most of my previous bikes have been ducati's so a decent 916 is on the cards next. Good to see a site with a huge cross section of ages and bike types, you've got a great forum here, well done!

Welcome. If you're lucky enough to catch Flame online, she's got a Duc to die for.

Enjoy the site mate. Post away. Don't get offended by anything. Get on some rides with some of the good people from up that way.

Did they tell you that you would be branded for LIFE with that KB nickname when you took the blue pill??

Welcome to KB CM! I ride occasionally with a guy who rides an 86 gixxer750, he gets along alright, so your 1100 must have some grunt!

If you are looking for a 916, check out www.corsa.co.nz he imports them from Japan for much less than you pay at the dealers. That might be one of the routes I take for a next bike.
