Can't you do a wheelie in the rain mate?Originally Posted by Dogwat
To get a rain date, we would have to have paid the track hirage a long way in advance, which we obviously haven't done.
Payments received so far fall a long way short of track hireage.
The good news is, that if the weather does turn to custard, we can cancel and book another day.

Hi Guys
I am helping someone can help me out. I need someone/s to do abit of filming for me at the Stunt Skills day on the 8th April. If you are going as a spectator/rider and have will be taking vid footage, could I use it? All tapes will be returned and I will hook anyone up with a copy of Chicks Dig Scars DVD for your help.
Main reason for this is a)my brother can't come up with me and he does all the filming when I am riding b) there is no way I am filming all day and missing out on riding! Yes, I am a greedy bugger! I will still get the camera out myself, but it's hard to focus on filming when you want to ride as well.
Your help will be much appreciated. Suitable footage from this will be used to edit a section on the very first NZ Stunt Day on Chicks Dig Scars Number Two! If your footage is used your name will appear in the credits as well.
PM me if you are keen.
Cheers
Andy
Cool. I caught up with Sam last weekend at the AMC track day at Puke and he's really keen. Silly bugger thought he had to audition: - after some furious waving to attract my attention at the start he then did a mint wheelie from the dummy grid to the first corner, and several down the front straight on each pass, resulting in him getting a bollocking from the organisers!Originally Posted by DEATH_INC.

Fuck this is almost worth the trip up north. Well actually it is worth the trip, just don't know if I can get the time.
Well, while most people are sleeping, I've been planning my 'run' up to the dragstrip, since I'll only be spectating (no i'm not trying to organize a mini-event from Hamilton to the dragstrip, as I'm leaving the night before, and sleeping at a friends place (farm off Springhill Rd). Might get him to come along and watch (on his farmbike hehehe)
I have no idea on how many km's extra this trip is gonna be as opposed to going up the silly SH1 or time difference, but my plan is to have fun...
Um, I'm suddenly wondering why I posted all of this... oh well, goodnight...

out of intrest, does it seem like you are gonna get enough people to cover your costs?
There is no dark side of the moon, really, as a matter of fact. Its all dark...
Only just.
Bloody expensive business this putting on motorcycle events.

Tell me about it... There's a chance i might see you up there. As a spectator this time. All depending on funds, that travling/acomodation/eating business is even more expensive than putting on bike events
