Why would I buy a Porsche and leave it in the fucking garage? I want to drive the bloody thing - my choice! Besides, buses are for peasants.

Again, if you read my post I was complaining about the roadworks and the lack of any foresight into road design. Before the Council started playing their little games it took me 15 minutes to get home. Now it takes me at least 40 minutes and now they are stuffing it up even more.

    Anymore bright ideas?

Have you ever tried to get resourse consent for a helicopter landing pad? I didn't think so.

Read my post above simpleton. It's about what the council are doing up here in Auckland. I don't mind traffic if there's a reason for it, but what they've done just sucks. The other day the police got called to one of the intersections because of threats to the workers. It's really that bad.

Sorry, can't leave my car at work. Did that once and it got keyed. A staff member got their car broken into. Unfortunately the carpark is not that secure.

Oww that hurt - ha ha ha. I don't really care about your traffic problems up there, sick of hearing about it. I am however thoroughly enjoying this thread

At the end of the day you live in a city with huge traffic flow. Its that traffic thats wrecking the roads, if their not doing the work cause the roads in bad condition its still the traffic that causes the need for road works. Less cars = less neeed for roadworks. I live in a city that has continual interruptions because of road works, I guess were a bit harder in Wgtn though...

Also I resent the comment about buses being for peasents. it gives the impression that you think your better than everyone?

    I work for the council!
I drive to work, by myself, in my council work car (if you can call a Kia a fucking car), clogging up the roads some more in an un PC fashion! And if you think Im getting a bus to work, either,........not a starter
Fuck knows what they are doing down on Fanshawe street - putting in a bus lane or something - but dont ask us - we're the last to know whats fucking going on! Its a total shambles down there - lanes closed off for god knows why - a different lane every day! Traffic meandering all over the place, queues, delays....Traffic flow is a foreign idea to most of the wallies up there!
No point ringin the council mate - they're all foreigners anyway! I cant understand most of them myself....!

And do I give a fuck?
    Not really.
